Road, and charged him with a felony for allegedly possessing
marijuana that had been packaged for sale. Police said they

Possession of marijuana for sale

• Gilroy police arrested Anthony Daniel Suniga Jr., 32, of Hollister, around 1 a.m. Saturday at the Motel 6, 6110 Monterey Road, and charged him with a felony for allegedly possessing marijuana that had been packaged for sale. Police said they responded to the third-floor room following a report of a loud party there.

Possession of a narcotic

• Gilroy police arrested Crystal Dawn Maxey, 22, of Dos Palos, at about 8:45 p.m. Tuesday and charged her with a felony for alleged possession of 0.2 grams of methamphetamine, plus misdemeanors for reportedly being under the influence of methamphetamine, possessing a dagger in her purse, driving without a license and violating her probation. The arrest took place at Swanston Lane at Leavesley Road.

• Gilroy police arrested Daniel Mammini, 26, of 500 W. Tenth St. around noon Saturday and charged him with a felony after reportedly finding methamphetamine in his vehicle. Police said they stopped Mammini’s vehicle at Seventh and Monterey streets for a traffic violation.

Suspect wanted for assault

• Gilroy police are looking for Kimberly Marie Farley, 19, of 7050 Yorktown Drive, on a misdemeanor charge for allegedly punching a 47-year-old female relative in the mouth at 8:30 p.m. Monday.

Resisting arrest

• Gilroy police arrested Isaac Ruben Bernola, 32, of 10065 Monterey Road, at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and charged him with a misdemeanor for reportedly fleeing on a bicycle from officers and running into a house. Bernola is on probation, and the charge could be a violation. Police said they were stopping him because he had a bicycle light out.

• Gilroy police arrested Samuel Cavazos, 27, of 240 Farrell Ave., at about 9:45 p.m. Friday and charged him with a felony for reportedly kicking and spitting at officers as they took him into custody. Police said Cavazos fled on foot when they arrived at 591 Fairview Drive, in response to a report of a loud party. Police gave chase and caught Cavazos soon afterward. Police also charged him with misdemeanors for resisting arrest and being under the influence of a narcotic.

• Gilroy police arrested Paul Musquez, 24, of Morgan Hill, and Greg Musquez, 34, of Hollister, after a fight broke out at 8:10 p.m. Monday in Pizza Cove restaurant, 303 First St. According to police, one of the Musquez brothers started the fight by becoming aggressive with other restaurant patrons. When police arrived to quell the violence and arrested the Musquez who had allegedly sparked it, his brother reportedly tried to prevent them from doing so. Each brother was charged with two misdemeanors.

Suspect wanted for passing a counterfeit bill

• An unknown customer got change for a fake $100 bill at Union 76 gas station, at 601 Leavesley Road, at about noon Tuesday, according to police. Union 76 staff did not discover until later that the bill was fake.

Driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs

• Gilroy police arrested Evangelina Almanza, 20, of 7397 Monterey Road, on a misdemeanor warrant at 3:49 a.m. Sunday at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Longmeadow Drive.

Driving with a suspended license

• Gilroy police arrested Sylvia Regalado Aguilar, 40, of 7224 Princevalle St., at 5:34 p.m. Saturday on misdemeanor warrants for driving with a suspended license and vehicle registration. Bail was set at $3,000.

Petty theft

• Gilroy police arrested Roberto Ortega, 33, of 8438 Kelton Drive, at about 6 p.m. Monday for stealing a pair of shorts from Max Muscle, at 8025 Kern Ave. The charge was a felony because Ortega has a prior conviction for theft, police said.

Theft

• Gilroy police arrested Maria Estrada Delosangeles, 29, of 7931 Miller Ave., on a warrant at 7:19 a.m. at her home. Bail was set at $6,000.

Possession of burglary tools

• Gilroy police arrested José Manuel Rodriguez, 19, of Sixth and Monterey streets, at about 3 a.m. Saturday and charged him with a misdemeanor for possessing prying devices, latex gloves and a flashlight. Police also found a car stereo they believe is stolen inside Rodriguez’s pants. A felony theft charge for the stereo may be forthcoming, police said. The arrest took place near the corner of Seventh and Maple streets.

Drunk in public

• Gilroy police arrested Marc Nelson Tolin, 53, of Morgan Hill, at 2:05 a.m. Sunday at 7200 Monterey St. Tolin also had a warrant for a prior drunk-in-public charge.

• Gilroy police arrested Ivo Reis, 24, of 20 Farrell Ave., at 1:30 a.m. Saturday at 90 Farrell Ave.

• Gilroy police arrested Holly Jessica Fennell, 19, of 2355 Roop Road, at 1:43 a.m. Saturday at Arnold Drive and Hanna Street.

Vehicle accidents

• One person received injury of an unknown nature when several vehicles collided around 1690 Hecker Pass Road in Gilroy at about 11 a.m. Friday, according to the Gilroy Fire Department.
