CalFire will begin prescribed burn training today at the Canada De Los Osos game reserve at the end of Jamieson Road about 20 miles east of Gilroy.
The series of 10 acre-section training burns will be conducted during the next few weeks for a total of 45 acres. Smoke from the training exercises is in a remote area with the possibility of smoke viewable in Gilroy, according to CalFire.
