Anna Ruth Brodsky and Steven Douglas Jenkins are engaged to be married.
Anna, daughter of Howard and Donna Brodsky, is a 1999 graduate of Live Oak High School and a 2009 graduate of UC Davis, with a bachelor’s degree in ecology and minor in oceanography. She currently works for the State of California Water Resources, Bay Delta Division.
Steven, son of Harry and Emily Jenkins, is a 1995 graduate of Gilroy High School. He is an independent contractor in real estate investment.
The couple plan a July 3, 2010 wedding in San Martin. They will reside in Sacramento.
Rocha/Campuzano
Jennifer Mary-Ann Rocha and LCpl Luis Campuzano are engaged to be married.
Jennifer, daughter of Deborah Ann Pereira Rocha, attended Gilroy High School and is currently a party planner.
Luis, son of Hector and Maria Campuzano, attended Mt. Madonna High School and is in the United States Marine Corps.
The couple plan a 2011 wedding in Gilroy with all those who love them by their side.

Francisco Ruiz
Army Pvt. Francisco J. Ruiz has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.
He is the brother of Miguel Ruiz of Hollister and a 2008 graduate of San Benito High School.

Dana A. Scheoeneman, of Gilroy, was named to the fall 2009 Dean’s List at Missouri Valley College. The requirements for the Dean’s List are a 3.3 or higher grade point average; at least 12 graded hours for the semester; and no “D,” “F” or “Incomplete” grades for the semester.
