Gilroyan Rodolpho F. Nunez, 83, died on Dec. 27, 2003. She was a native of Mexico.
Mr. Nunez was born in Mexico and lived in the Sacramento area before moving to Gilroy 16 years ago. Rodolpho was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army. He was active in the Gilroy Senior Center for many years.
He is survived by his children Terry Nunez, of Sacramento, Elias Alexander Nunez, of Sacramento, and Eva Nunuz, of Sacramento; grandchildren Sammy Justinich, Alex Justinich, Bon Justinich, Jesus Nunez, Michelle Nunez, Angelo Nunez and Zulema Nunez, all of Sacramento. He is the brother of Henry Perez, of Sacramento, Esther Leon, of Sacramento, Aurora Sidhu, of Sacramento, and Arthur Perez, of Sacramento. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Evelia, his sisters Rose Nunez, Esperanza Torres and Ella Lopez and brother Ralph Perez.
A graveside service will be held at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine, on Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. Arrangements under the direction of Habing Family Funeral Home, Gilroy.
