Sandoval notches only win in 6-1 falter to Palma
SALINAS – After two straight wins to start the Tri-County Athletic League season, the Gilroy High boys tennis team was slashed from the unbeaten ranks, losing 6-1 to host Palma on Tuesday.

The Mustangs (2-1 in T-CAL) lost all three doubles matches and three of four singles bouts. Senior Andres Sandoval picked up the only Gilroy win in the No. 4 singles slot.

Up next, Gilroy will travel to neighboring rival Live Oak for a Thursday match at 3:30 p.m.
