Gilroy – This workshop is designed for the small business owner who uses or would like to learn how to use QuickBooks 2005. QuickBooks 2005 is one of the most widely used small business accounting software programs available to small business owners.
This course is a 3-week progressive course that takes you through the very basics of getting your business started to learning how to synchronize your QuickBooks contacts with other contact management programs such as Outlook.
The dates for this workshop series are Thursday, Nov. 3, 10 and 17, from 6 to 8pm at the Gavilan College SBDC, 8351 Church St., Bldg. E. The cost for this 6-hour workshop is $90 payable in advance.

Gilroy – Learn how to get started the right way by participating in this 2-hour workshop presented by the Gavilan College Small Business Development Center. “Get Your Business Up and Running” presents an overview of marketing essentials, produce selection, business goal setting, legal issues, licenses required, risk evaluation, bookkeeping, financing, and management issues.

Gilroy – Good planning is the basis of any successful business start-up, and a necessity for a loan application. This workshop will lead you to focus on a marketing plan, financial projections and a strategic plan to put your business on the road to success.

Basic bookkeeping
