that he has done from his heart as a human being.

I wanted to express my appreciation to Tom Springer, not only for the work he has done as Mayor of Gilroy, but the many things that he has done from his heart as a human being. Thank you for being with those community members in times of sorrow, celebration, and great accomplishments, especially to veterans, students and parents and those in need.
Thank you for donating and planting the rose bushes in the Rogers Lane neighborhood. Thank you for donating $200 to the Eigleberry Neighborhood Association and supporting neighborhood meetings everywhere.
Thank you for donating computers to the Rebekah’s Children Services Casino Night Fundraiser. Thank you for giving your time to give groceries away to those in need. Thank you for purchasing Oakland A’s ticket and giving them to underprivileged kids in our community.
I know that what you gave was done because you care about the community you live in and there are many of us that are grateful to you for making Gilroy a wonderful place to live and work. Thank you for standing firm in what you believe, especially in difficult times and when difficult decisions had to be made.
