Janette Virginia Lomosad, 60, died Friday, Aug. 20, at a Havre Hospital of heart failure.
Mrs. Lomosad was born on Oct. 5, 1943 to Charles I. and Beatrice Bella (Pepion) LaFromboise in Havre, Montana. As a young child she moved with her parents to Gilroy, where she attended school. In 1959 she graduated from Gilroy High School. On Sept. 15, 1960 she married Larry A. Lomosad Sr. in Gilroy. After their marriage the couple lived in Gilroy. In 1998 Janette returned to Montana because of health reasons. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, reading, knitting, and warm sunny days.
She is survived by her husband Larry A. Lomosad Sr. of Newman; children, Larry Lomosad III of Rocky Boy, Mont., Leland (Diane) Lomosad of Waco, Texas and Ginger (Manuel) Romero of Newman; sisters, Louise Bautista of Gilroy, Rosemary LaFromboise of Rocky Boy, Mont., Delores LaFromboise of Rocky Boy, Mont., and Joann Moore of Morgan Hill; as well as eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters.
Wake services have been held. Burial took place at the Rocky Boy cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Holland & Bonine Funeral Home.
