GILROY – The monthly Senior Focus Meeting will be held Friday, y 16 from noon to 1 p.m., at their new meeting place, The Wheeler Manor, 651 W. Sixth St.
Joan Sattler from Gilroy Healthcare Center will speak about ‘Ask Alice,’ a TV program from Gavilan College, and the impact of Human Health Services in South County. Bring a bag lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided.

Garlic golf
GILROY – The 25th annual ‘Gilroy Garlic Festival Golf Tournament’ will be held Friday, at Gilroy Golf Course, 2695 Hecker Pass Road, from 1 to 6 p.m. Fee of $100 per person includes green fees and shared cart, raffle, great tri-tip steak dinner and an afternoon of fun! Proceeds will benefit local charities.

GILROY – Gavilan College Theater Arts’ Summer Theater Arts Repertory (STAR) 2004 presents ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at Gavilan College, 5055 Santa Teresa Blvd., on Friday, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, at 3 and 7 p.m.
The event is produced by special arrangement with Tams Witmark Music Library.
Adults are $12, seniors and students are $10 and kids under 12 are $8.
