Marie T. Lybbert died Sunday, Sept. 19, 2004, in Gilroy.
Mrs. Lybbert lived in Birmingham, Ala. with her daughter and family from 1999 to 2001, before she moved back to Gilroy, where she lived for the past three years.
She took care of many people in the area and was loved by all who knew her. She maintained relationships with people from both Alabama and California.
She was a great lady who will be sorely missed, but in our hearts forever.
She is survived by her children, Richard Lybbert and his wife Barbara of Salinas, and Christine Key and her husband David of Hanceville, Ala.; grandchildren, Diana Nelson, Vikki Harris and Ronnie Gray; sisters, Jeannette Gravereau and Jocelyne Haye, both of France; and her former husband, Delmon Lybbert of Watsonville.
Funeral services will be held at 10am Friday, Sept. 24, 2004, at Habing Family Funeral Home, 129 Fourth St., Gilroy. A viewing will be held beginning at 9am, Friday, at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at New Prospect Cemetery in Hanceville, Ala.
