Three Rams scored in double digits to help Gavilan to its first win of the year. 
RJ Collins led Gavilan with 16 points, en route to its 62-59 win over Reedley to open the Skyline Tournament Friday. Robbie Skinner was close behind with 15 points, while Albert Medrano added 11. The team went 1-2 on the weekend and finished fourth overall. 
The Rams then played Las Positas on Saturday in the tournament semifinals, but fell 76-59 to land themselves in the third place game. Gavilan trailed by only a point, 35-34, at the half but were outscored by 16 points in the second half. 
Skinner led the team with 14 points against Las Positas, followed by Wyatt Madrid with 10. 
Gavilan took on Bakersfield College for third place, but lost 65-52. Collins led his team with 16 points, while Josef Delk posted eight. 
The Rams (1-9) will break for the holidays before returning to action at 2 p.m. Dec. 30 against Ohlone.
