Christopher’s Cydney Caradonna had been playing like an MVP all season. On March 11, it became official.
Caradonna was named Co-MVP of the Monterey Bay League-Gabilan Division alongside North Salinas’ Alyssa Springs.
The Cougars’ senior was also given First Team All-League honors while teammate Dejah Raoof was named Second Team. Christa Arroyo received an honorable mention and Melanie Tanaka was named to the Sportsmanship team.
Three Gilroy seniors topped the list for the Monterey Bay Pacific League honors.
Holly Lam, Brianna Barron and Leilani Mah were all named to the MBL-Pacific All-League First Team, capping off a stellar season that earned the Mustangs their first league title since 2011.
Freshman Maddy Cox and sophomore Nia Pollard were named Second Team All-League while senior Sam Delatorre and freshman Adina Valencia received honorable mentions. 
Senior Alyssa Avila was given the Sportsmanship Award.
