A six-run fourth inning helped Gavilan get back its winning ways.
The Rams blanked Ohlone College 8-1 Tuesday in Fremont.
Gavilan scattered 13 hits across seven innings on Ohlone’s ReAnn Garza. In addition to its big fourth frame, the team also scored in the third and sixth for the final. 
Paige Miguel went the distance, allowing only five hits and two walks while striking out five. 
Priscilla Orona led the Rams, going 3 for 5 with two runs scored, an RBI and a stolen base. Samantha Parraz, Mari Rodriguez and Miguel were all 2 for 4 with an RBI. Rodriguez also had two runs while Miguel had one.
The Rams (14-4, 4-1) will return home to host Chabot at 3 p.m. Thursday.
