I read with disgust the stories about the school board and the FFA trip.
Rhoda Bress and Tom Bundros obviously have absolutely no concept as to the value of the program to some students. And to have the absolute audacity to suggest that parents should step forward, when in reality parents are an integral part of the success of FFA.
Ms. Bress clearly never had any dealings with such things as FFA with her children, but I can tell you from personal experience that if it wern’t for FFA, and Mr. Bob Kuntz, our son would have had a very difficult time succeeding in high school, and eventually getting a college degree.
