The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes, including battery, peeping or prowling and possession of ammunition by a prohibited person. Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter May 21 through 28. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Battery
-Jose Martinez, 26, May 25 at 10:04 p.m. on the 7500 block of Rogers Lane for felony battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
Burglary
-Jessica Ortiz, 24, May 23 at 8:26 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for felony first-degree burglary.
Domestic violence
-Marvin Henry, 29, May 25 at 6:13 p.m. near the intersection of Leavesley Road and Murray Avenue for felony false imprisonment, battery on a former spouse, fiancé or friend, violation of a protective order, resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer and re-arrest for probation violations.
Embezzlement
-Efrain Salinas, 24, May 23 at 2:59 p.m. on the 600 block of Leavesley Road for one felony charge with damages more than $400.
Possession of ammunition by a prohibited person
-Juan Lopez, 21, May 24 at 1:48 a.m. on the 9000 block of Kern Avenue for one felony charge.

-Eleuterio Hernandez, 20, May 25 at 2:52 a.m. on the 500 block of Lewis Street.
Violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence
-Jonathon Casteneda, 39, May 24 at 1 p.m. on the 8300 block of Hanna Street.
Driving under the influence
-Pamela Moulden, 46, May 23 at 10:26 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Fifth streets for DUI and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Crystian Mendieta, 23, May 24 at 12:40 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Sixth streets for DUI, driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher, driving with a suspended license, giving false information to a police officer and exhibition of speed.
-Eduardo Sanchez Pacheco, 19, May 25 at 2:24 a.m. near the intersection of Martin and Railroad streets for DUI and driving while unlicensed.
-Luis Garcia Segundo, 26, May 26 at 2:52 a.m. on the 7800 block of Hanna Street for DUI.

-Michael Haro, 39, May 22 at 1:17 a.m. near the intersection of Lewis and Forest streets for possession of a switchblade, driving with a suspended license, failure to provide evidence of financial responsibility and failure to stop.
-John Kitaji, 57, May 22 at 3:45 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey Street and Las Animas Avenue for two charges of possession of a controlled substance, one felony and one misdemeanor, and two charges of resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
-Diane Naces, 31, May 22 at 11:52 p.m. near the intersection of Grant Court and Murray Avenue for battery against a spouse, cohabitant or friend and vandalism with damages of $50,000 or greater.
-Roger Flores, 37, May 23 at 3:01 a.m. on an undisclosed section of Railroad Avenue for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a switchblade, use/being under the influence of a controlled substance and two charges of resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
-Monica Phillips, 60, May 24 at 12:24 a.m. near the intersection of Third and Eigleberry streets for unlawful possession of paraphernalia and two outstanding warrants: driving while unlicensed and felony possession of a controlled substance.
-Tauras Pruitt, 28, May 25 at 8:46 p.m. near the intersection of Wren Avenue and El Cerrito Way for inflicting bodily injury on a spouse or cohabitant, trespassing and possession of a controlled substance.

-Justo Montez, 42, May 25 at 5:19 p.m. near the intersection of Railroad and Old Gilroy streets for felony processing as a violator for revocation.

-Ignacia Robles, 50, May 22 at 9:30 a.m. on the 8000 block of Monterey Street for felony possession of a narcotic and a misdemeanor charge.
