Police blotter

The Gilroy Police Department recently responded to a variety of crimes, including burglary, possession of a switchblade, driving under the influence and vandalism.  Arrests were recorded in the GPD blotter May 15 through 21. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
Burglary
-Henry Soza, 36, May 19 at 3:31 p.m. on the 8100 block of Monterey Street for felony first-degree burglary and felony sale or aiding in the sale of stolen property.
-Jesse Santos, 35, May 20 at 10:42 p.m. on the 500 block of Polk Court for two felony charges of second-degree burglary.
-Delia Sandoval, 33, May 21 at 9:23 a.m. on the 2000 block of Hecker Pass Road for felony second-degree burglary.
Violation of a protective order
-Jose Coronado, 27, May 17 at 2:09 a.m. on the 8800 block of Lilly Avenue.
-Tony Travis, 48, May 17 at 4:45 p.m. at Saint Louise Regional Hospital.
-Arturo Navarro, 34, May 18 at 1:23 a.m. on the 600 block of E. Seventh Street.
Multiple charges
-John Carillo, 22, May 15 at 10:57 p.m. near the intersection of Forest and Lewis streets for felony possession of a dirk or dagger, felony possession of stolen property, resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer, possession of a switchblade, re-arrest for probation violations and felony parole hold.
-Jeffrey Freeman, 43, May 16 at 4:38 p.m. on the 6900 block of Rosanna Street for felony assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism with damages less than $400.
-Michael Stewart, 35, May 16 at 8:40 p.m. on the 6400 block of Kensington Place for driving with privileges suspended or revoked, driving without due caution, calendaring, having a deficient windshield or window and vandalism with damages less than $400.
-John Fregoso, 32, May 17 at 12:49 a.m. on the 7700 block of Monterey Road for felony vandalism with damages exceeding $50,000 and resisting, delaying or obstructing a police officer.
-Santos Jimenez, 33, May 18 at 10:20 p.m. at the police station for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a switchblade and driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Johnathan Walker, 24, May 20 at 1:35 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo for felony sale or aiding in the sale of stolen property, theft of an animal carcass, theft using a credit card and access card fraud.
Possession of a controlled substance
-Isaac Rodriguez, 21, May 16 at 12:39 p.m. on an undisclosed segment of Miller Street for one felony charge and one misdemeanor charge.
-John Carrillo, 47, May 17 at 9:43 p.m. on the 300 block of Lewis Street for one felony charge and use or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
-Magda Marcelo Hernandez, 31, May 19 at 1:27 a.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Seventh streets for one felony charge and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Julian Orozco, 45, May 21 at 10 a.m. on the 6100 block of Monterey Street for two felony charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and felony parole hold.
Unlawful possession of paraphernalia
-Julio Aguayo, 38, May 18 at 2:20 a.m. on the 5900 block of Travel Park Circle.
-Erika Martinez, 26, May 18 at 9:09 p.m. on an undisclosed segment of Uvas Park Drive.
Battery
-Jason Lehman, 35, May 17 at 10:19 p.m. on the 7100 block of Harvard Place for battery on a former spouse, fiancé or cohabitant.
Petty theft
-Salomon Bravo, 27, May 18 at 3:32 p.m. on the 7100 block of Camino Arroyo.
Possession of a dirk or dagger
-Robert Aguilera, 56, May 18 at 11:46 p.m. near the intersection of Hornlein Court and Monterey Street for one felony charge.
Driving under the influence
-Alejandro Gonzalez, 28, May 18 at 11:53 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and Third streets for driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
-Henry Barr, 49, May 18 at 8:40 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and 10th streets for two felony charges driving under the influence with three separate offenses, operating a vehicle as a restricted driver, driving with a suspended license and failing to provide evidence of financial responsibility.
Possession of cannabis
-Daniel Martinez, 38, May 17 at 8:34 p.m. near the intersection of Leavesley Road and Murray Avenue for possession of concentrated cannabis, possession of more than 28.5 grams of marijuana and use or being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Under the influence of alcohol, drugs or a controlled substance
-Alberto Ramirez, 22, May 17 at 9:04 p.m. on the 7500 block of Milias Court.
-Ricardo Cendejas, 26, May 19 at 11:40 p.m. on the 9400 block of No Name Uno.
-Lance Wofford, 45, May 20 at 11:12 a.m. on the 1500 block of Margareta Place.
Driving violations
-Elichiba Ruiz, 36, May 15 at 8:24 p.m. near the intersection of Martin and Railroad streets for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
-Elizabeth Gonzalez, 35, May 16 at 2:40 a.m. near the intersection of Murray Avenue and Adams Court for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and driving without a license plate.
-Jessica Chavez, 20, May 16 at 11:02 a.m. near the intersection of Church Street and Westwood Drive for driving with privileges suspended or revoked and not wearing a seat belt.
-Joseph Sanchez, 38, May 17 at 8:01 p.m. near the intersection of Monterey and 10th streets for driving with privileges suspended or revoked.
