– The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association, Inc., is now accepting
entries for the 2003 Art Poster Contest.
GILROY – The Gilroy Garlic Festival Association, Inc., is now accepting entries for the 2003 Art Poster Contest. A $750 First Prize will go to the entry which is judged to best capture the spirit and essence of this premier food festival, now celebrating its 25th anniversary.
In addition, the First Place winner shall receive one of each souvenir food item produced with their artwork. The second place winner will receive $400 and third place $200. The winning entry will be reproduced as a high–quality, limited edition poster to be sold at the 25th Annual Garlic Festival, July 25, 26, and 27, 2003.
The deadline for entries is Feb. 4, 2003, and winners will be notified by Feb. 18, 2003.
