Assault
A man was shot at three or four times by an unknown person who
ran toward him while he was on the 100 block of Southgate Court,
7:15 p.m. Friday. One of the bullets grazed the man’s scalp. The
man went to a hospital but was released soon after checking in.

Joel Rios, 21, of the 1400 block of Buena Vista Avenue, 9:28 p.m. Jan. 24 near the intersection of IOOF Avenue and Monterey Street for possession of less than one ounce marijuana, being under the influence of a controlled substance and driving without lights.
Domestic battery
Elias Madrid, 55, of San Jose, 9:28 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Mantelli Drive and Wren Avenue on a warrant.
