GILROY – Los Gigantes captured the Men’s Fall C League regular-season title Monday with a 16-5 victory over Most Wanted at Las Animas Park.

C&R Communications will play Tax Systems at 7:40pm, with the two winners playing at 8:50 for the playoff title.

Los Gigantes built a 15-0 lead before Most Wanted pushed across a run in the fifth on a Roy Escudero RBI-single. Julian Castaneda homered in the Wanted sixth, then Johnny Andrade, Escudero, Danny Sandoval and Juan Arias hit consecutive doubles in the seventh.

Chendo Acevedo hit two home runs, Jeremy Page one for Los Gigantes. Chris Soto went 4-for-4 for the winners.

C&R Communications finished the season at 6-2 after a 26-9 decision over Lozano’s Dirty Ghetto Boys.

Jesse Gonzalez homered and singled in a 12-run first frame for C&R. Jordan Skyler lined a three-run homer in the same inning. Fred Gomez went 4-for-5 for C&R. Luis Bobadilla and Paul Gonzalez each went 3-for-3 and Lawrence Espinosa and Don Rose hit Lozano’s homers.

Tax Systems finished third in the league with a 5-3 mark by outlasting VFW Vets 24-9. Mike Olmeda went 4-for-5 and Joel Valdivia scored four runs for Tax Systems. Danny Melendez, Rich Valencia and Jay Contreras hit VFW Vet home runs.

The Hustlers edged Let’s Bang 7-5 Tuesday to leave both clubs at 5-3 in second place in the Co-Rec Fall B League.

The Co-Rec B Playoff Night is Sunday Oct. 19 at Las Animas. Frank Vargas Taxes will play Gamers In Control at 4pm, the Hustlers and Let’s Bang play at 5:10, with the winners playing at 6:20pm.

Mike Reggiardo slapped three hits and Jose Melendrez garnered three RBI with a double and single for the Hustlers. Anthony Lucio singled and doubled for Let’s Bang.

The Hit Men (3-5) concluded the Men’s Fall D action Tuesday with a 14-7 decision over the Titans.

Ernie Badillo paced the Hit Men charge with a 5-for-5 effort. Vance Lee doubled and singled for the Titans.

The Men’s D Playoff Night is Tuesday Oct. 21. Cencal Autobody plays Blackout Window at 6:30, Gamers In Control test the Players at 7:40, the winners squaring off at 8:50.

Anritsu (3-5) earned a spot in the Co-Rec Fall C Playoff Night on Sunday Oct. 26 with a 23-1 win over El Fuego Wednesday.

Marco Lopez, Henry Maquinalez and Andy Alarcon powered homers and Cesar Lopez went 4-for-4 for the winners. Chris Hatch doubled home the El Fuego (2-6) run.

Blackout Window Tinting, the second seed in the C League, finished the regular season at 4-4 with a 14-11 upset of first-seed Door Expo.

Terry Smith collected four hits, Serf Mancera and Chris Velador four apiece for the Tinters. Teddy Bueno homered in a 4-for-4 effort and Jorge Landeros hit two doubles for 7-1 Door Expo.

Ryan McDonnell hit two homers to help Feather Haven (3-5) past the Loco Boys 11-6 in the Men’s Fall DD finale Wednesday. Jessie Nunez went 3-for-4 for Feather Haven. Bubba Lara went 3-for-3 and Alex Pena hit a two-run single for the Loco Boys (2-6).
