Former city administrator to join editorial board

Outgoing City Administrator Jay Baksa will join The Dispatch’s editorial board after his retirement today.

The board meets once a week to discuss local issues and their effects on the community. The group then writes a collective opinion piece that appears in the newspaper’s Opinion section under “Our View.”

When Baksa joins the board in a few weeks, he will bring its membership to seven people. Baksa will be the newest addition from City Hall since Councilman Bob Dillon left the board before his election last November.
