Driving under the influence

Ismael Hernandez Carlos, 38, of the 4700 block of Monterey Road, 10:50 a.m. Thursday, near the intersection of Miller Avenue and Mason Place on warrants for driving under the influence, driving without a license and failure to appear in court.

Public intoxication

Kerie Lynn Caliri, 45, of the 700 block of Lawrence Drive, 9:01 p.m. Thursday, at Saint Louise Regional Hospital, 9400 No Name Uno.

Resisting or delaying a peace officer

Moises Torres, 22, of the 7100 block of Eigleberry Street, 11:43 p.m. Thursday, at the Garlic Farm Inn, 5920 Travel Park Circle, on a warrant.

Petty theft

Claudia Vazquez, 31, of San Jose, 5:48 p.m. Thursday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo. Vazquez tried to leave the store without paying for a cookware set, bedding supplies and a toy.

Other GPD incidents

Auto burglary

A stereo, DVD player and headset, total value of $842, was stolen from a vehicle parked on the 7500 block of Princevalle, between Dec. 29 and Jan. 3.

A stereo equalizer and CDs were stolen from a 1990s Ford Expedition parked on the 5700 block of Rossi Lane.

Two wallets and sunglasses were stolen from a Ford Expedition parked at Costco, 7251 Camino Arroyo, Thursday.

Vehicle tampering

An unknown person jammed a metal instrument in a 2007 Cadillac Escalade parked at Gilroy Chevrolet Cadillac, 6720 Bear Cat Court, late Wednesday night. The person cut a chain link fence to get into the dealership.

Petty theft

Wood pallets valued at $200 were stolen from Bay Sheets, 6791 Alexander St.

Sheriff’s Incidents

Petty theft

The rear license plate was stolen off a red 1990 Acura Integra parked at a residence on the 13000 block of Uvas Road in Morgan Hill, between 12 a.m. Dec. 22 and 5 a.m. Dec. 26.

Recovered stolen vehicle

Deputies found a black 1988 Ford Mustang, reported stolen out of San Jose, unoccupied with its windows rolled down near the intersection of San Martin and Lincoln avenues in San Martin, 6:30 a.m. Monday.
