Police are reviewing a surveillance tape to find two men who pointed a gun at employees and a customer of a Morgan Hill liquor store and stole an unknown amount of cash.

Officers responded to the armed robbery at the Quick Stop store, 215 West Main Ave., after the suspects left and the victims called police to report the incident about 10:35 p.m. Monday, Sgt. Shane Palsgrove said.

The store clerk told police that two Hispanic men entered the store wearing dark clothing, hoods, ski masks and gloves, Palsgrove said.

One of the suspects pointed a silver revolver at the 38-year-old clerk and demanded money, police said. The other robber went behind the counter and emptied the cash register, placing cash into a bag.

The suspect wielding a gun then pointed the weapon at a 19-year-old customer’s head and took his money, Palsgrove said.

A third victim, a 35-year-old store employee, came out from the back room in the middle of the robbery and was held back at gunpoint while the suspects fled, Palsgrove said.

The robbers entered a vehicle outside the store left the scene in an unknown direction, Palsgrove said.

The entire incident was caught on the store’s surveillance tape, which police are reviewing along with other evidence, authorities said.

Both suspects were described as Hispanic males, according to Palsgrove said. One was about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 230 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans. The other was about 5-feet, 7-inches tall, 160 pounds and also wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Police said no one was injured during the robbery.
