and was held at Gavilan College Theater.
Gilroyan Tiffani Petersen, 20, has been crowned the 2011 Miss Gilroy Garlic Festival Queen.

The pageant began at 4 p.m. Saturday, and was held at Gavilan College Theater.

As pageant winner Petersen will receive $1,000 in cash and gifts, $2,500 from Christopher Ranch and will represent the Garlic Festival Association in press, radio, television and stage appearances without fee to promote and publicize the festival.

First runner-up was Toni Eves, 22, from Gilroy.

Second runner-up was Megan Griffin, 17, from Morgan Hill.
