Ernie left this world and went home to be with the Lord and the love of his life, his wife Geraldine Ann Vest.
Ernie was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He was a restaurant business owner for over 20 years. He was also an Elk for over 50 years.
Ernie was a great Dad to his five children and their spouses, Kathy and Rene Kakebeen, Connie and Tim Berdin, Ken and Wendy Vest, Colleen Vest and Ernie Vest. His true pride and joy in life were his grandbabies, Aaron Kakebeen, Blake Kakebeen, Chad Kakebeen, Candice Berdin, Allison and Scott Mead, Tim Berdin, Garrett Vest, Katie Vest, Jessica Vest, Christian Silvas and Luke Evans.
The family would like to thank all the Staff from Mabie Northside. We greatly appreciate the love and care that you have given our Dad over the years. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for him to have spent the last six years of his life. You are truly the best.
