–Vanessa Renee Helme, 19, of the 1200 block of Rucker Avenue, 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on warrants for manufacturing or selling fake government identification, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana or concentrated cannabis, and being a minor in possession of alcohol in a public place.
Petty theft with priors
–Matthew James Dominguez, 23, of Morgan Hill, 2:18 p.m. Tuesday, on Camino Arroyo for petty theft with prior convictions.
False vehicle documents
–Freddie Ybarra Perez, 22, of the 7800 block of Eigleberry Street, 9:12 a.m. Tuesday, at 7380 Orchard Drive for display of false registration, insurance or vehicle identification.
Leaving the scene of an injury accident
–Jessica Marquez, 18, of the 1400 block of Mantelli Drive, 9 p.m. Monday, at 7370 Rosanna St.
Prostitution
–Albert Ramirez Calderon, 33, of San Jose, 1:26 a.m. Wednesday, at 7250 Monterey St. for soliciting or engaging in acts of prostitution, loitering with intent to commit prostitution, and providing false identification.
Driving without a license
–Constantino Soto Encinas, 39, 7300 block of Maple Avenue, 10:42 p.m. Tuesday, 8110 Westwood Dr.

Vandalism
–Suspects were seen tagging at Rod Kelley Elementary School, 8755 Kern Ave., 1:20 p.m. Sunday.
Commercial burglary
–Suspects broke into the old Wal-Mart building, 7900 Arroyo Circle, by prying open a roof access lid, 3:24 a.m. Monday. The suspects took copper wiring before being confronted by firefighters – who had responded to a tripped fire alarm – and fleeing out a back door.
Fraud
–Gas from Valero worth $673 was charged to a stolen gas credit card before Monday.
–A male, who witnesses describe as about 25 years old and Hispanic, attempted to pass a counterfeit check at Franco’s Imports, 7269 Monterey St., 2:08 p.m. Saturday. When the teller refused to cash the check, the suspect fled.
–A black female, who witnesses describe as about 5-foot, 5-inches, 230 pounds with short black hair, attempted to cash a counterfeit check at Bank of the West, 7865 Monterey St., 4:35 p.m. Friday.
Petty theft
–A white cloth purse containing identification cards and personal items was stolen from a white 1992 Lexus Excel parked outside 1129 Monte Bello Drive between 2 and 2:15 p.m. Monday. The thief grabbed the purse off the front seat through an open window.
Stolen vehicle
–A gray 2004 Nissan Ultima was stolen from behind Rio Nilo, 7474 Monterey St., between 8 p.m. Friday and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Vehicle burglary
–A Pioneer stereo worth $50 and miscellaneous paperwork, including vehicle registration, were stolen from a 1990 Honda Civic parked outside 303 10th St. between 5:30 p.m. Monday and 7 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect smashed the passenger window to gain entry.

Controlled substance possession
–Salvador Perez, 45, of the 8500 block of Silvia Street, 11 p.m. Monday, near the intersection of Monterey and 10th streets for possession of a controlled substance and probation violation.
–Sharon Lea Squeri, 44, of the 17000 block of Hill Road in Morgan Hill, 4 p.m. Sunday, at her residence for possession of a controlled substance, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Public intoxication
–Jon Jay Leaman, 64, of Live Oak Avenue in Morgan Hill, 11:50 p.m. Saturday, near the intersection of Live Oak and Hale avenues.
Controlled substance influence
–Michelle Ann Lisher, 35, of the 17000 block of Hill Road in Morgan Hill, 3:05 p.m. Saturday, at her residence.
–Juan Manuel Castro Salcedo, 45, of the 200 block of Farrell Avenue, 1:15 p.m. Friday, near the intersection of Monterey and Las Animas roads. Salcedo drew the attention of deputies when he crossed four lanes of traffic on his bicycle without signaling and without checking for oncoming vehicles.
Concentrated cannabis possession
–Joseph Dillon Fritz, 23, of Acacia Way in Morgan Hill, 10:57 p.m. Oct. 16, near the intersection of Murphy and Tennant avenues for possession of concentrated cannabis and less than one ounce of marijuana. Deputies saw Fritz riding a bicycle at night without a light and ran a warrant check, which revealed that he had a warrant for driving a vehicle under the influence.
