Driving with a suspended license

– Michael Dean Tenny, 53, transient, 11:40pm Sunday, at Las Animas Veteran’s Park, 8575 Church St., on warrants for driving on a suspended or revoked license, possession of an open container while driving, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

– Alejandro Cruz, 21, no address given, 12:16am Sunday, for driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Failure to pay

court fines

– Frank Espinoza Ramirez, 53, of the 400 block of Fairview Drive, 8:01pm Sunday, at his residence on a warrant for two counts of failure to pay court fines.

Burglary

– Richard Anthony Houda, 36, of the 900 block of Miller Avenue, 5:04pm Saturday, at Wal-Mart, 7150 Camino Arroyo, for burglary, possession of methamphetamine, resisting arrest, child endangerment, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and co-conspiracy to commit a crime. The juvenile who was with Houda, whose name is not being released because he is a juvenile, also was taken into custody for entering with intent to commit burglary.

Carrying a

concealed weapon

– Johnny Amezquia, 21, of the 10100 block of Armand Court, 1:54pm Sunday, at 671 Garbini Street on warrants for possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed weapon and disobeying a court mandate.

Assault threats

– Steve Jeffrey Hereford, 33, of the 1200 block of Juniper Drive, 7pm Saturday, for threatening assault and resisting arrest and on a warrant for domestic battery.

Petty theft

– A juvenile, whose name is being withheld because he is a juvenile, 11:15pm Saturday, for petty theft. The juvenile entered a 7-Eleven store, stole three 24-ounce cans of Budweiser beer and fled on foot. Police found him several blocks from the store with the beer.

Other GPD incidents

Stolen vehicle

– A white 1991 Acura Integra was stolen from 7290 First St. between 6:30 and 6:35am Saturday. The owner had left the car running with the keys in the ignition and the car doors unlocked.

Robbery

– Two unknown suspects took a person’s wallet by force while the person was walking near the intersection of Eighth and Eigleberry streets, 8:45pm Sunday. The two suspects fled the scene on foot.

Grand theft

– Copper wire valued at $400 was taken from a worksite at Redwood City Electric, 7475 Camino Arroyo, between 5pm Sunday and 7am Monday.

Firearm discharge

– One round was fired from a gun by a person inside a car at the 200 block of Gurries Drive, 8:02pm Monday. The bullet was found in the ground near a residence on the block and the suspect or suspects drove away.
