Citizens, there’s big trouble in Gilroy. Yes, right here in Gilroy, and something must be done about it immediately. Did you know that there’s parking allowed on First Street here in Gilroy? Yes, my friends, right here in Gilroy. I know it’s hard to believe, but anyone can drive their car or truck down to First Street and actually park along the side of the road.
This is terrible, something has to be done right away. It’s the worst thing that ever has happened in this town. If something isn’t immediately done, we will have youngsters sitting in parked cars along the roadway. They will probably be saying things like “Golly” and “GEEWiz” … or even things like “Yaba Daba Do.”
Our entire lifestyle is being threatened by this horrible situation. I call upon the city council to immediately pass an ordinance to put an end to this terrible threat to our community.
