Sophomore Allison Foster won the triple jump and placed in two other events to lead Christopher High’s girls track and field program to the team title at the Willow Glen Invitational on Saturday at Willow Glen High in San Jose.

Foster won the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 11 inches, took second in the 100-meter hurdles in 16.52 seconds and placed fourth in the long jump with a mark of 15-5.

Christopher’s Haley Romero won the long jump at 16-6 3/4, Natalie Gutierrez was second in the high jump at 4-8, Kaelin Sylva took second in the pole vault at 8-6, Bridget Brown claimed third in the 400 in 1:08.58 and Vanessa Koontz took sixth in the 200 in 27.52.

Christopher’s girls 400 relay team of Olivia Baxter, Koontz, Romero and Carlene McPolin won in 53.03, and the 1,600 relay team of McPolin, Brown, Gutierrez and Koontz was third in 4:33.07.

Cody Oberlander led the Cougars’ frosh-soph boys team, winning the high jump at 6-2.
