What inspires you? The best inspiration, for me, comes when something is not just astonishing but also represents my deepest values. Watching my mom work with selfless passion inspires me. Her vulnerability and strength invigorate me to become a better person.

What is your favorite subject in school, and why? My favorite subject in school is dance because I can express my feelings through mu body. It enables me to release tension and stress from my chaotic life and it allows me to focus on the most important thing which is enjoying myself.

If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be? The one thing I would change is the constant judging and lack of tolerance people have towards each other. The world would be a much better place if we would all accept each other as we are. Instead of judging each other for our differences, we should embrace them.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go? It would be a dream come true if I could go to the Vatican. My faith and religion are essential to me and being at the place where the governing body of the Catholic Church is would be an honor. I would be able to embrace my beliefs and learn more about my religion.

What is your dream job? My dream job would be being a nurse. I always knew that I wanted to be in the medical field from a very young age and the death of my grandma solidified those feelings. I want to be able to care for people when they need it the most.

If you were stuck on a deserted island, what three things could you not live without? Three things I could not be able to live without would be my glasses, phone, and T.V.

Favorite book: Night by Elie Wiesel

Something that makes you smile: Watching my siblings together makes me smile. The time I spend with them is very valuable to me, especially now that I’m so close to leaving for college.
