Local constituents are invited to come and meet Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren, D-CA, at a town hall meeting hosted by Mayor Don Gage from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 in City Council Chambers located at 7351 Rosanna St. in Gilroy.
Congresswoman Lofgren represents Califonia’s 19th District – which includes much of San Jose, Morgan Hill, San Martin and portions of Gilroy – in the House of Representatives. She will answer questions and provide an update to constituents on activities in Washington, D.C.
Beginning June 5, members of the congresswoman’s staff will be holding regular meetings from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month in City Council Chambers, according to Public Information Officer Joe Kline with the City of Gilroy. These bimonthly meetings will provide an avenue for constituents to raise questions or concerns with the congresswoman’s staff, Kline added.

Congresswoman Lofgren’s staff can assist in federal matters as diverse as Social Security, immigration, Medicare, or even foreclosures, Kline said.
