Police Blotter: Recent arrests made in Gilroy and Morgan Hill

Theft

-An unknown suspect(s), between March 20 and March 25, charged $100 worth of merchandise online. The victim contacted her bank and canceled her debit card.

Burglary

-An unknown suspect(s), between noon March 16 and 10 a.m. March 22 on the 600 block of Madrone Avenue in Morgan Hill, broke into a shed and stole power tools estimated at $3,881.

Drugs

-Troy Lee Camp, 52, 10:42 a.m. March 23 on the 1400 block of Crowner Avenue in San Martin, for possession of cocaine and possession of a Billy club. Conducting a welfare check, officers discovered 1.5 grams of cocaine, a methamphetamine pipe and the Billy club at the residence. The suspect admitted to snorting cocaine earlier in the day.

-William Gerald Weddingfeld, 47, 10:13 a.m. March 26 on Monterey Highway at Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers discovered two glass meth pipes and a baggie of methamphetamine.

-Tuan Minh Nguyen, 31, 12:09 a.m. April 1 on Monterey Highway at Bailey Avenue in San Jose, for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

-Anthony Tony Ortiz, 56, 8:03 p.m. March 30 on the 200 block of Caldwell Court in Morgan Hill, for possession of a controlled substance and felony committed while on bail. The suspect was pulled over for having expired registration tabs and was driving with a suspended license. Officers discovered 3 grams of methamphetamine on the driver side floorboard tucked under the seat.

-Gilberto Francisco Jimenez, 25, 11:07 a.m. March 30 on Monterey Highway at Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for possession of concentrated cannabis and violation of probation. Officers noticed the odor of marijuana on the suspect and located 43 grams of concentrated cannabis on him.

-Samuel Gonzales, 60, 12:03 p.m. March 30 on Travel Park Circle at Monterey Road in Gilroy, for being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect admitted to using heroin and officers discovered four hypodermic needles in with brown residue on them and three spoons containing cotton balls with heroin residue in the tent.

-Samuel Delgado Gonzales, 60, 11:18 p.m. April 1 on Monterey Highway at Travel Park Circle in Gilroy, for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

-John Andrew Stites, 56, 2:23 p.m. March 30 on Club Drive at Santa Teresa Boulevard in Gilroy, for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers discovered a glass pipe and .6 grams of methamphetamine in the immediate vicinity.
