Police arrested two Gilroy High School students who were involved in a gang-related fight at 2 p.m. Dec. 8, at Princevalle and West 10th streets. Both were cited and released.
A man attacked a woman at Chestnut and East Sixth streets at 4:35 p.m. Dec. 8, punching her, kicking her and throwing rocks at her. Police determined the suspect was mentally ill and had the person transported to emergency psychiatric services.
Police received a report at 10:30 p.m. Dec. 7 that unknown suspects had broken into a car at 7880 Church St. and stolen $730 worth of items, including American Medical Response uniforms.
Police cited and released someone for vandalism at 1:05 p.m Dec. 4 on West 10th Street after finding the person in possession of black shoe polish and a Sharpie marker. The arrestted had a prior arrest for graffiti.
Police arrested 57-year-old San Jose resident Viktor Goldin, 57, for driving under the influence of alcohol at 9:08 p.m. Dec. 5 at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Welburn Avenue. A witness said he saw Goldin drinking wine around Gilroy Gardens, 3050 Hecker Pass Highway, and he was seen driving off after staggering to his vehicle. Police stopped Goldin for failing to signal.
Police arrested William Pecknold, Jr., 38, and Ginger Bordeaux, 32, shortly after 12:05 a.m. Dec. 5 for resisting arrest after they had caused a disturbance in front of Gilroy Bowl, 7554 Monterey St. The Gilroy residents were intoxicated and fighting when police arrived, Sgt. Jim Gillio said. Bordeaux threatened police and became aggressive before she was arrested, Gillio said. Then Pecknold began to charge toward the officers who were arresting Bordeaux. Police used an electronic stun gun to subdue him before arresting him. Both residents were booked into Santa Clara County Jail.
Police found a male youth, who was being investigated by Morgan Hill Police Department for a commercial burglary, to be in possession of aluminum bars that he claimed to have found in an alley at 7:01 p.m. Dec. 6 on Hanna Street.
