police said.
A 50-year-old homeless man attacked a 40-year-old man early this morning with a sword and took off before police could arrest him, police said.

About 5:30 a.m. this morning, Lee Brazwell Jr. used the sword to inflict non-life threatening wounds on the unspecified 40-year-old at 5920 Travel Park Circle in south Gilroy, police said. However, Brazwell left the area before police could locate him, police said.

Police described Brazwell as white, 5 feet, 9 inches, and 140 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Brazwell was last seen wearing a blue denim jacket and blue jeans, police said.
