Passed away at home in Morgan Hill at the age of 84. She was born in San Juan Bautista, CA and grew up in Tres Pinos. She has lived in Morgan Hill for 42 years. She worked as a cook at South Valley Hospital in Gilroy until she was 75 years old. Her family was the biggest interest in her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter, in 1984 and is survived by her children and their spouses, Eleanor and LeRoy Ginther of Fresno, Tom and Jackie Barnes of Morgan Hill, Joe and Terrie Barnes of Morgan Hill and Bill Barnes of Morgan Hill. She also is survived by 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Friends can pay their respects on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2009 from 10:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral services at Calvary Cemetery.
