Police Blotter: Recent arrests made in Gilroy and Morgan Hill

George Campa, 60, of Gilroy, 4:46 p.m. Sunday, near Forest
Avenue and Lewis Road for resisting, delaying or obstructing a
peace officer and parole violation after he ran from police who
stopped him for jaywalking and hid in his family’s home. His family
members held him down and turned him over to police.
Sheriff’s arrests

Under the influence of a controlled substance

Delia Sandoval, 28, of Gilroy, 12:50 p.m. April 6, near Las Animas Avenue and Monterey Road for being under the influence of a controlled substance and probation violation.

Michelle Gutierrez, 32, of Gilroy, 11:15 a.m. April 6, on the 7000 block of Monterey Road after police found her walking on the train tracks.

Resisting a peace officer

George Campa, 60, of Gilroy, 4:46 p.m. Sunday, near Forest Avenue and Lewis Road for resisting, delaying or obstructing a peace officer and parole violation after he ran from police who stopped him for jaywalking and hid in his family’s home. His family members held him down and turned him over to police.

Possession of stolen property

James Lucio, 32, of Gilroy, 10:27 a.m. Saturday, near Leavesley and Murray roads for parole hold, possession of stolen property and possession of marijuana during a traffic stop.

Possession of methamphetamine

Monica Leticia Flores, 43, of Gilroy, 12:46 a.m. Thursday, near Monterey and Howson streets.

Recovered stolen vehicle

A 1979 yellow Swinger forklift stolen out of San Benito was found on the 300 block of Mesa Road, 7 a.m. April 8.

Unattended death

A 102-year-old Morgan Hill woman was found dead in her home on the 300 block of Casa Loma Drive in Morgan Hill, 10:49 p.m. April 7.

Residential burglary

An air compressor was stolen from a barn and the adjacent house was ransacked on the 12000 block of Sycamore Avenue in San Martin, between 6 p.m. Jan. 10 and 6:30 a.m. March 28.

Grand theft

A golf cart was stolen and driven through a chain link fence on the 5900 block of Monterey Frontage Road, between 9 p.m. April 4 and 8 a.m. April 6.

A Nintendo game system and games worth $170 and about 300 music CDs were stolen from an unlocked 1997 gray GMC van parked on the 13000 block of Colony Avenue in San Martin, between 8 p.m. April 7 and 6:30 a.m. April 8.

Possession of methamphetamine

Police found four grams of methamphetamine and ammunition during a probation search of the 15000 block of Center Avenue residence of Joseph Stewart Graffigna, 28, of San Martin, a convicted felon already in police custody, 8:16 a.m. Saturday.

Stolen vehicle

A 2007 black trailer worth $5,000 was stolen from 500 block of Monterey Road in Morgan Hill, between 2 p.m. March 25 and 12 p.m. April 6.

Identity theft

A Gilroy woman’s Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union debit card number was used to open an online bill payment account and make six separate online transactions through PayPal charging a total of $690.62, between 12 a.m. Thursday and 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Vehicle burglary

An iPod and wallet were stolen from a 1998 black Ford Expedition on the 300 block of Palomino Lane in San Martin, between 1 and 6:30 a.m. Friday. The windows of the vehicle were smashed.

Found property

A black duffel bag was found on the side of an unspecified location on New Avenue, 6:30 p.m. April 8.
