The “Every 15 Minutes” presentation at Christopher High School was an intense educational experience. Students saw first-hand the dangers of distracted and drunken driving when some of their peers were “killed” in a simulated automobile crash.
The victims and their parents then went on an overnight retreat where they wrote each other letters, and the following day they spoke at a funeral. Families of actual crash victims were there as well.
There were few dry eyes in the house during the statewide program intended to hammer an important message home to teens and parents.
