Gilroy Police are investigating an incident in the 7100 block of Rosanna Street when officers were contacted by a nearby resident, who advised that a gunshot victim had just shown up at their residence at 9:47 a.m.
Officers respond to the address and found a subject suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso and lower body. The shooting victim, a 28 year old male resident of Morgan Hill was conscious but unwilling to provide officers with information about the shooting.
Officers provided first aid until fire and ambulance personnel arrived to assume patient care. The shooting victim was transported to a bay area trauma center where it was determined that the injuries were not believed to be life threatening. The victim was last reported to be in stable condition.
Through their initial investigation, officers learned that the victim had driven himself to the location where he was discovered. The victim did not provide officers with information about where the shooting occurred, nor were there any calls of gunshots made to Gilroy Police
