Dejah Raoof led all scorers with 15 points to lift Christopher’s girls basketball team to a 48-34 victory over St. Francis Central Coast Catholic on Friday in the semifinals of the Watsonville Tournament.

Raoof scored 13 points in the first half for the Cougars (2-1), who advanced to play San Benito in the title game at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Hanna Tabron scored 10 points for Christopher, which got eight points from Maddie Peterson and seven points from Cydney Caradonna.

Sonja Shumake and Kim Hammill scored 12 points each for the Sharks.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Christopher 46, Wilcox 31 – Dillon Day scored 16 points to lead the Cougars (4-1) past the Chargers in the Los Gatos Wildcat Shootout consolation title game.

Wyatt Rocheleau added nine points for the Cougars, who got seven points each from Andrew Foster and Evan Shapiro.

GIRLS SOCCER

Christopher 2, Everett Alvarez 0 – Jamie Boutté scored in the first half and Yessi Delgado added a second-half goal as the Cougars downed the Eagles.

BOYS SOCCER

Soledad 3, Christopher 1 – The Cougars fell to the Aztecs despite a goal from Jose Romo.
