Unified Narcotic Enforcement Team and the Morgan Hill Police Department served a narcotic related search warrant at a residence in the 15800 block of Hill Road and arrested Thomas Hasty, 28.Â
Hasty was found in possession of about 145 grams of cocaine, a loaded handgun, extra ammunition, digital scales and packaging material, police said. About 1.0 gram of crystal methamphetamine was also located and collected from Hasty’s bedroom.
The cocaine (weighing more than 1/4 of a pound) has an estimated street value of $11,600 to $14,500, according to police.
Hasty was arrested on suspicion of possession of cocaine for sale, possession of methamphetamine and possession of a controlled substance while armed.
