Luis Ayala
Luis Ayala was named Gavilan College’s Employee of the Month for March 2012.
Luis has been a groundskeeper with Gavilan College since July of 2004. He is currently responsible for the sports complex area and the upper and lower pond area. His area is always well manicured and looking good. Luis is always willing to assist the other groundskeepers on some of the larger projects given to them. Last year Luis tilled and amended the soil on the east side of the gymnasium, then seeded the area and planted flowers along the wall. This area looked pristine by graduation time. Luis is a team player and takes a pride of ownership in his work.
