Don’t let the yardage of this par 5 fool you. This hole climbs straight uphill towards the Gilroy Elks lodge and probably plays closer to 500 yds due to the elevation.
PRO SAYS: Keep your tee shot to the left of the oak tree in the right side of the fairway. This will set you up for a straight away approach shot off an uphill lie so take some extra club. Staying short of the green is better than long. A chip from behind this downhill sloping green is impossible.
THE SKINNY: Once on the green is where the fun starts. This small two tiered green will give you fits if you are not below the hole. Putting bold and downhill will almost always cause the ball to roll off. Be defensive when putting this green and you can leave with a good score.
