Dear Editor,
On behalf of Karen and myself, I just want to say
”
THANK YOU!
”
You guys rock!
On a recent Sunday, more than 100 volunteers gathered, asked how
they could help and proceeded to package over 3,200 c-rats! These
small care packages of granola bars, toiletries and goodies each
had a very important item
… a letter from home, or, as we like to say, a written hug.
Dear Editor,
On behalf of Karen and myself, I just want to say “THANK YOU!” You guys rock!
On a recent Sunday, more than 100 volunteers gathered, asked how they could help and proceeded to package over 3,200 c-rats! These small care packages of granola bars, toiletries and goodies each had a very important item … a letter from home, or, as we like to say, a written hug.
I’m guessing a few of you had cramped hands from all the writing. Some of you had sore backs from all the lifting, but each and every one of you touched a heart across the globe. This year when you sit down for Christmas dinner, you will know that you made a difference for a service man or woman far away from home. We hear that many of our deployed military feel forgotten during the holiday season. About 40 percent never hear from friends or family. We let them know we care.
Thanks to all of you for all the ways you help and all of you that help throughout the year! Thank you for all the ways you continue to support our troops!
A special thanks to 3D, Rock Solid and Andoni Bundros for keeping us rocking the entire time! A special thanks to Tina Bundros for organizing the bands!
Please know it is very much appreciated by our troops.
We are here for you all year long to keep the morale high and going strong for our brave men and women. Many of us continue to meet every Tuesday at the warehouse, 8075 Camino Arroyo in Gilroy, from 4:30 to 6:30pm. It’s each and every one of you that keeps our soldiers standing strong during the holiday season.
