Earthbound Farm has filled the newly established roles of chief marketing officer, chief human resources office and senior VP operations and organic integrity. Earthbound Farm hired marketing veteran Judy Chen as the new CMO. In this new role, she will be leading all of Earthbound Farm’s marketing programs from product innovation and development to business development, consumer marketing and communications. Chen has more than 15 years of marketing leadership. Sandy Whitehouse is the new chief human resources officer. In this new role, she will be leading all of the company’s human resources functions. Whitehouse has more than 15 years of leadership in human resources. Will Daniels’ role has been expanded and he is now senior vice president of operations and organic integrity. He was formerly SVP quality, food safety and organic integrity. Daniels’ leadership has been pivotal in developing Earthbound Farm’s industry-leading food safety and organic integrity programs, officials said.
Carino’s offers new Italian bar
Carino’s, located at Gilroy Crossing, recently opened Johnny’s Italian American Bar. There are $2 beers as well as well as wings for 25 cents. Free peanuts are provided. There is a 108-inch video wall that allows for prime viewing of sports. The high tables, swivel stools and neon signs give the bar a sports bar feel. Photos of famous Italian and American sports heroes decorate the newly painted red walls.
