Dear Editor,
What a great election! Not only was a great president chosen,
but the two state Indian gambling measures failed, one by more than
3-to-1 and the other by more than 4-to-1. Maybe people are finally
waking up to see what this really is: Racial preference!

Back before any of us were alive, treaties were signed making Indian reservations subject only to federal law. These promises, albeit mistakes, need to be kept. However, said mistakes apply only to said reservations!
I like gambling. I’d like a casino on every corner. But that business opportunity should be for everyone, not just Indians!
Thanks to former Gov. Gray Davis and the Democrats, anyone with a BIA number can buy some land and set up a casino; if an Indian casino opens its doors near here, let’s send ’em some blankets.
