Washington Hospital in Fremont due to heart complications and
Alzheimer’s.
Agnes Fletcher, 86, of Union City passed away Oct. 1, 2003, at Washington Hospital in Fremont due to heart complications and Alzheimer’s.

She was born Dec. 30, 1916, to Bert and Mattie Grinage, in Concordia, Kan. She came to California in 1940 and settled in King City. She came to Morgan Hill in 1976 and moved to Union City two years ago. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, in 1980 and by a brother and sister.

She is survived by her son Eugene of El Reno, Okla.; a daughter Nanci, of Salinas; grandson Frank Leuck, of Eugene, Ore.; sister Kathryn (L.O.) Sebree, of Hebron, Neb.; numerous nieces and nephews; and a dear family friend that Agnes called her second daughter, Edith Tarr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. at the First Methodist Church in Morgan Hill.

Inurnment to be held at a later date.
