on Nov. 21, 2002.
Albert E. Chipman, 80, of Morgan Hill, passed away at his home on Nov. 21, 2002.
Albert served in the United States Navy for 32 years. He was aboard the USS Sicard when Pearl Harbor was attacked. Among many of his medals are the Korean Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He is survived by his wife Polly of Morgan Hill; his children, Sandra Randall of Vacaville and Terry Sherwood of Pioneer; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren; his step-children, Sandy Kloster of San Jose, Linda Starek of San Diego and Ted Kloster of Gilroy; four step-granddaughters; and two step-great grandsons.
A memorial service was held on Monday, Nov. 25. with interment at San Joaquin National Cemetery, Gustine.
