Dear Editor,
Although I voted for John Kerry, I am at peace with the massive
national support of president re-elect, Bush. His reelection
settles a lot of issues for me. It gives me peace to know that the
military in Iraq voted overwhelmingly in support of Bush’s
decisions. I am no longer dismayed by the deaths and injuries,
because I now know that the soldiers agree they are dying or being
severely injured for a cause they believe in, based on their
support of Bush.
Dear Editor,
Although I voted for John Kerry, I am at peace with the massive national support of president re-elect, Bush. His reelection settles a lot of issues for me. It gives me peace to know that the military in Iraq voted overwhelmingly in support of Bush’s decisions. I am no longer dismayed by the deaths and injuries, because I now know that the soldiers agree they are dying or being severely injured for a cause they believe in, based on their support of Bush.
In Bush’s second term, at least one Supreme Court justice will be replaced with a strict constructionist who believes like four others already there that we have no constitutional right to privacy. That will kill Roe vs. Wade, which was based on the belief that the abortion decision was a private decision. Abortions will again, become back-alley, ice-pick procedures. But the youth vote didn’t materialize in this country, so those youthful women who die of infection put themselves in that position by not showing up at the polls. The youth vote has consistently flaked out. My remorse for these dead women will be on the same level as if they stood beside a busy freeway, looked both ways, and walked into traffic. Yes, I prayed for a Kerry victory, and all prayers are answered by God. But sometimes, God answers with “No,” just as he answered the prayers that came out of the jets on 911, and from the Twin Towers. Who are we to challenge His infinite wisdom?
By a huge margin, grandparents have already put their grandchildren into the Triangle of Evil, and will now finish with Iran and North Korea. After all, Bush is consistent in his beliefs and doesn’t waver, and doesn’t admit mistakes. We have not less than 10 years to spend hundreds of billions more of our national wealth in Iraq, and will soon face off with the other two. It may start with the next North Korean missile. Many are not aware that the missile shot by North Korea over Japan was not just a message to Japan. It was a three-stage missile, and the second stage failed, so it dropped into the ocean to soon. Had the second and third stages fired, it would have dropped in the ocean just before reaching California, the original North Korean target for that missile, as a message to us (yes, they are that crazy). In the last four years it is estimated that they quadrupled their number of nuclear warheads, but I am at peace knowing Bush, and some hundreds of future dead soldiers, will clean that up.
Yes, the nation wants Bush back in office and voted for him grandly and enthusiastically. Like Bush, “I trust the people’s decision,” and I am at peace. Hail to the chief!
