GILROY – 741 pins fell for league bowler Del Corral (267 high) in his three-game series at the Gilroy Bowl last week to pace the men’s field, while Tammy Lewis (234 high) knocked down 656 pins to lead the women’s division and Jim Sullivan (278 high) plowed down 663 pins to top the senior league.
Also scoring big in the men’s division were: Ray Bravo (697 series, 267 high); Russ Hesch (696 series, 259 high); Dave Nunez (674 series, 244 high); Randy Hampton (670 series); Rick Mello (661 series, 245 high); Steve Boggs (647 series, 268 high); Larry Gallego (639 series, 223 high); and Bob Sakai (630 series, 236 high).
Continuing to tear up the women’s league were: Cathy Baty (656 series, 247 high); Grace Kawano (571 series, 211 high); Joyce Milla (570 series, 216 high); Carmen Bettencourt (544 series, 245 high); and Mary Bravo (200 high).
Rounding out the senior’s field were: Rudy Escobedo (621 series, 215 high); Mildrid Laird (550 series, 203 high); and Lori Watts (519 series, 216 high).
In the junior’s division, Joshua Bravo bowled a 567 three-game series with a high game of 209, and Mike Grzyb had a high game of 210.
