Andrew Mendoza, from Gilroy, Anthony Hardgraves, from Modesto, Amanda Bradley, from Morgan Hill, and Patrick and Kristal Leach, from Newman, enjoy their wine as they stroll through downtown Saturday.

The Gilroy Downtown Business Association – a group of small business owners who have banded together to promote downtown commerce – is hosting their fifth annual Art & Wine stroll on Saturday, May 4.

Tickets are on sale at all participating businesses for $25 per person in advance and $35 at the door. As in past years, local wineries set up booths in downtown businesses for tasting. This year, 21 businesses will pair with 20 wineries.

Local artists will also be displaying their work to the background of some homegrown musicians.

Check-in for the Art & Wine Stroll begins at 2:00 p.m. at two locations: Gilroy Center for the Arts, 7341 Monterey St. and the Pinnacle Bank Plaza, 7597 Monterey St.
