GILROY – Anritsu scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to trim the Hit Crew 5-4 in the Championship Game of the Men’s E Softball League Thursday at Christmas Hill Park.

Aaron Miller and Dave Soto scored the decisive runs as Anritsu finished the season 14-1, including 2-1 in the Championship Series.

George Martinez went 3-for-4 for the winners. Kavika Palacios went 3-for-4 and Tyler Maslanka homered for the Hit Crew.

The Hit Men claimed the Men’s D title Friday with a 21-11 victory over Tax Systems. Jess Lopez Jr. went 4-for-4 and Kurt Maltman and Mario Razo each scored three Hit Men runs. Tom Karambela and Daniel Hernandez each drove in two Tax Systems runs.

Los Pistoleros won the Men’s DD crown with a 14-6 decision over Feather Haven. Danny Reyes hit a two-run home run and Maciel Urenda went 3-for-4 for Los Pistoleros. Mark Gallardo lined a triple and two singles for Feather Haven.

CenCal AutoBody took the Men’s C title by topping Self Made 9-2. Isaac Seymour hit a two-run homer as CenCal scored nine fifth-inning runs. Willie Gamboa scored both Self Made runs.

Brenda Horder Farmer’s Insurance-Dee’z Nutz rallied past Frank Vargas Taxes 10-9 with a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh to take the Men’s BB title.

Charlie Sanchez tied the score at 9-9 with a two-run homer and Joel Vaca’s single plated Rob Silvia with the winning run. Memo Lopez went 4-for-4 with a homer for the winners. Rich Valencia homered for Frank Vargas Taxes.

RSW Racing defeated Team Hair FX 9-1 to take the Co-Rec C Championship Series 2-1. Mario Razo homered and doubled for the Racers. Carissa Kozacek plated the Team Hair FX run.

Dee’z Nutz successfully defended the Men’s E Garlic Festival Softball Tournament title Sunday with a 9-7 victory over Los Veteranos in the finals of the 24-team tournament.

Dee’z opened the double-elimination event with a 5-2 loss to Self Made, then recorded nine consecutive wins. Memo Lopez Jr. went 3-for-4 to help Dee’z win the finals. Joel Vaca homered in the semi-finals as Dee’z edged Los Veteranos 6-4.

Dee’z dropped North Bound into third place with a 14-4 victory as Raul Gracia scored four runs.

Dee’z blanked Bad News 5-0 to leave Bad News in fourth place.
